This is a 1976 Capri II with manual 4 speed. The car is rust free with an unknown number of miles. Shows under 40,000. Only rust I can find is some surface rust on the underside of the hood and on wheels. Chrome is excellent. The seal around the hatch window has shrunk and curled up in the corners. Does not affect weather tightness or integrity of rear glass. I believe it could be put back in with a heat gun and glue. Rebuilt 2.3 engine with Racer Walsh (Isky) cam and solid lifters. Offenhauser intake with Holley 4-barrel carburetor and headers. Runs strong. Car has been lowered 1 inch with new springs, shocks and has heavy duty sway bars. Front seats were recovered and car was repainted. Interior is very good. Rear seats are excellent. Has cracked dash and holes cut out for radio in dash and speakers in the doors. As shown, I have some spare parts that go with it including a heater core, grill, headlight surrounds, interior door panels, dash face, and marker light lenses. I have had it since 1987 and it has always been garaged. I’ve started it at least yearly and recently drove it to the local auto shop and spent over $700 to have all the fluids changed, lifters adjusted and completely gone through. Polyurethane chip guard was sprayed on rocker panels when it was repainted. This car is in amazing shape. Lack of space forces sale.
