Vehicle Detail
I have sold a vehicle on Ebay before with positive feedback so please bid with confidence. This was my brother's car who left it to me in his passing, so I will do my best to give you the best picture of what this car is. Good:Only 61k milesVery very fast. Engine sounds incredible. Turbo is definitely working :)Interior in good condition. I gave it a quick once over cleaning but it could still use some TLC. Aftermarket stereo system sounds good.Tires have a lot of life left Not Good:Exterior paint is not in good condition. It looks like the sun has done a number on the clear coat. There are various dings that look like they were picked up in various parking lots. However, there is no exposed metal and no rust.About once a week (driving daily) something causes the speedometer to stop working. It only happens for about a minute or two and then it comes back on.The shocks squeak when you go over speed bumps. I know that's not really a big deal...but in the interest of full disclosure.I recently took the car to Dobb's for the above two problems. They told me that the car is in sound mechanical condition and that it's not necessary the shocks that are making the sound so the advise was to leave it alone. They said they don't work on electrical problems even though they said they were going to look at it took, which makes me think they couldn't figure it out. When you make super sharp turns backing up (cut the wheel all the way), the tire will rub slightly on the fender. That happens in my 2007 Explorer too so maybe you're not intended to cut the wheel that far. Again, in the interest of full disclosure. Here's the Kelly Blue Book: Excellent $9,114 Excellent: 3% of all cars we value meet this criteria.
