1971 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER FJ40 Restoration completed about 3 years ago. Underside and frame coated inPor15. The Engine is a 283 small block chevrolet with a four barrel carb. The engine was completely rebuilt at time of restoration and runs great and has about 1500 miles on it. The engine is cooled with an aluminum radiator and an electric puller fan. The transmission was upgraded to a 4 speed from a later fj40. The clutch, master cylinder, slave cylinder, pilot bearing and throw out bearing all replaced and the transmission shifts perfectly. Both axels are original and are geared with 4:11. Manual locking hubs work perfect. Interior completely restored and finished in two tone beige and tan and is very clean. Speedometer and gas gauge work, all exterior and exterior lights work. Blinkers work although canceling cams do not work. The heater works great, I also have an unrestored rear heater that I will include. I also have an unrestored pair of rear jump seats I'm willing to include with the sale. Gas tank was relocated to the rear and gas filler relocated to rear panel on passenger side. The brakes are manual all the way around and work as they should. The fj has power steering with a brand new power steering pump and works great.
