Thanks for looking at this Unique 1976 MG Midget. Engine/Trans is a Circa. 81-83 Toyota Corolla. Engine sounds great, New plugs and wires recently. Transmission shifts smoothly. Everything mechanically is easy to get to. Oil Changes are quicker than the original Midget engine. The starter has been rebuilt. Tires are in good shape with plenty of tread with NO cracks. Paint is Driver quality at best, no rust/runs/major dents/etc. It could have benefitted from a little more thorough sanding. Top is Brand New EZ ON Brand. The interior could use refreshing, drivers seat has tears, passenger good. Door panels as seen in the photo's are not the greatest. Dash has some cracks. Floorpans/Trunk/etc are Very Solid. I will try to answer questions as best I can, but I did not put the engine and transmission in the car, So I may not know some of the technical questions. The brakes seem to hold well, All the lights work other than occasionally the Drivers side turn signal flashes very dim. The oil pressure, fuel, tach gauge all work. Wipers work. The temp gauge is not hooked up, there seem to be NO heating issues (I have let the car idle for 30 minutes with no problems). It does have 2 electric fans. Carb probably needs adjusting. All the glass is good other than the windscreen is scratched from wiper blade and there is a small chip. The radio is just in place(not hooked up). According to the title the miles on the Chassis are correct at 60,992 This will turn heads with it's high Revving, Nearly Bullet-proof Toyota drivetrain.
