THANKS*** Hello and Thank you for taking the time today to consider this beautiful "black on black" 1993 GMC Typhoon #0007 with only 67,184 miles. This Typhoon has literally been around the world!!!! It was built & assembled in Troy, Michigan. According to CARFAX, it was exported to Japan via Los Angeles California port when it was brand new in 1993. It was owned by a collector in Tokyo Japan for most of its life. In late 2008 we bought it at a Tokyo car auction and had it shipped it back to North America. For the last 3+ years, we have proudly storaged and displayed it indoors at our business in New Westminster (Vancouver), BC, Canada. Occassionally taking it out for a drive when the weather is nice to keep the fluids moving and seals in good condition. It is fully loaded. Interior and leather are in excellent shape! Interior smells clean and fresh. Yes the seats are Original. The 1993 models had better supportive seats than 1992 but did not have the "typhoon" embroidery. The Typhoon is currently sitting on aftermarket 18" 5-star wheels (the original 16" alloy rims are included but need refinishing), professionally lowered 2 inches, aftermarket 4 inch catback exhaust, new battery, new starter, engine oil change + tranny flush, starts-runs-drives excellent, I have been told by my mechanic that it feels like it has an aftermarket hi-stall torque convertor but I cannot confirm this, exterior is pearl black which I don't believe was an original color but none-the-less is a decent paint job and was done some time ago, very rust free and clean undercarriage as it lived in a snow/salt-free city in Japan. There are a few defects I want to mention... the right side valve cover has minor oil leak and should be tightened or have the gasket replaced -- pass side rear bumper corner plastic trim has hairline crack (see pic) & front tires hold air but will need to be replaced due to uneven wear and I suggest a wheel alignment before any long trips. This typhoon would make a great driver or some touchups and elbow grease and it could be a show-car. I would rate it overall a 8.5 out of 10. It is a truely unique vehicle which is unlike anything commonly found on the roads these days so it commands a lot of respect and attention. We paid well over $10,000 not including our time and effort to locate this vehicle and bring it here!! With the great condition that this Typhoon is in, the low milage and the price we are asking... I know it won't last long so hurry. Reason for selling is that I lost my cheap indoor parking space due to owner selling the building and I must move it out quickly. Originally I was asking $10,500 for this Typhoon prior to learning about this news. Terms: The Typhoon is located in New Westminster BC. The vehicle has not yet been registered in BC.
