Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1968 Ford Torino GT 2 dr hardtop. I purchased this vehicle from an estate auction 5 years ago. Vehicle was in a barn and had been sitting for a few years. Since I bought the vehicle I replaced both front braker calipers, pads, rear brake shoes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder all new belts hose's, duel exhaust, plugs, wires electronic ignition, four new tires, rear air shocks, rebuilt carb, timing chain & gears, gauges and power steering assit The radiator has been cleaned and repaired. The vehicle runs and drives but has a noise in the lower end of the engine sounds like a rod is knocking. The transmission shifts nice no issues. This is an original numbers matching car and very restorable there is some rust in the lower rear front fenders, left door in the lower front and both left and right quarter panels. The floor pans are solid as is the trunk floor frame rails are solid and the front rails and shock towers. The car is complete and is just missing rear quarter emblems and the ford letters on the decklid. That being said this is a very repairable vehicle a lot has already been done. This is a facotry air car not working at this time may just need charged not sure. No Warranty Express or implied Buyer is responsible for shipping. i except Paypal A $500.00 deposit within 48 hours of the end of auction and the balance before ar when vehicle is picked up. No personal checks cash or bank check only. Email with any questions or call 309-696-0543 I will answer your question as soon as possible. I am new to ebay so please bare with me. I would not drive this vehicle any distance as it would most likely do more damage to the engine. A new fuel pump was installed engine still has the same noise. I am relisting vehicle with no reserve.
