1999 Jetta 2.0L LOW RESERVE! For sale is very well maintained 1999 (but 2000 year model) VW Jetta, 2.0L. I have bought the car with 90k miles and it now has 125k. All power options, beige leather, heated seats and mirrors, iPOD Link (plays and charges), CD Changer in trunk, and power sunroof. It's 5 speed manual and gets 31mpg on highway (regular 87 gas). All standard safety features such as ABS, side and front air bags are included. MAINTENANCE FREE In my ownership I have documented everything done (I'm an engineer), the log is extensive (will come with the car) and all preventative maintenance has been done. However for this purpose, I'll note all major parts: 1. Clutch/flywheel have been replaced 2. New AC compressor with receiver dryer (all oils and charged) 3. Timing belt and water pump was just been done 3k miles ago 4. Rear brakes, tires done at 98k 5. Spark plugs, cables and new ignition module done a year ago, 6. Drivers side wheel bearing was done, various bushings in front and rear replaced (no knocking) 7. Trans fluid has been changed 8. Last oil change on 6/30/12 PAYMENT Winning bidder will need to overnight a deposit of $500 in form of a cashier's check and the balance within 5 business days. GREAT BUY The car is very quiet and rides smooth. Solid German car and perfect for fuel economy or for a student. For a 13-year-old car, it has a few cosmetic flaws, but nothing that effects function. I do have extras with the car: oil and filter, and OEM VW/Audi G12 coolant. For an additional $100 I have a tow hitch available. Clean Title in hand. If you are looking for a car that will require absolutely minimal maintenance, this is the car for you! Please note, the vehicle has a small scratch on the rear right fender. It won't cost more than $150 to have it buffed out. I've included a picture of it.
