Vehicle Detail
Ford Model A 1931 Sedan 4-door for parts or restore. Has had new wood installed into soft top (see photo). Has bad motor, but comes with good spare 4 cylinder engine. Doors open and close well on good hinges. Hood is a little bent at hinge near radiator. Has clear West Virginia title. No ignition key. Front brakes are frozen/seized. Has rust in sideboard tin and other usual places. Door glass removed or broken, but window risers appear to be inside. Not much else to describe, needs everything restored, or good for parts. No Reserve, Sells AS-IS. You are welcome to contact me to inspect before bidding if you like. No shipping, you will need a winch on your trailer to pull the car on (front brakes are frozen). Deposit of $300 due at auction close, with balance within 4 business days. BUYER PICK-UP WITHIN 7 DAYS OF AUCTION CLOSE. No storage available. On Aug-31-12 at 08:25:24 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE CORRECTION - We have been corrected, the car is not a 4 door, but a late 1931 Model A Slant Windshield Town Sedan. It is a late 31 because of the "teardrop" on the firewall of the car. The "Fordor" has a vertical windshield and a sunvisor - the Town Sedan has no sunvisor, but has the slant windshield. Also note there are some items missing: the wiper motor and arm, some interior window garnish moldings, possibly window riser assemblies. On Aug-31-12 at 08:27:47 PDT, seller added the following information: Also note - the soft top material appears to have been repaired near front center. On Sep-01-12 at 16:28:14 PDT, seller added the following information: Transport / Pick-up - We've reconsidered, and can give you 14 days from auction close, or Tuesday Sept 18th to have car picked up. If you use a transporter, tell the transport company that we will support nights and weekend pick-up. That sometimes makes a difference on how fast they will schedule. Recognize the front hubs / brakes are frozen. The car loaded easily from behind, and pulled off easy with my ATV.
