There is rust evident on some parts of the body and the interior is in rough shape. Although one might not think so based on appearance, the motor has only about 30,000 miles on it as it was replaced with a crate engine imported from Sweden some time ago. The car is unique in that Volvo never really had a sports car until they introduced the p1800 in 1961; they haven't really had one since either. This car - the 1800 ES - was an updated version of the P1800 offering a sporty looking car that was somewhat practical due to cargo space.
