Vehicle Detail
1953 MG TD This car was restored in 2004 and sold at the barrett-Jackson auction. It is a frame off restoration from new wire harness to rebuilt engine with less than 400 miles driven on it since the restoration. The car has new chrome and paint ect.... It is missing a few things to make it a great car. Side curtains and windshield wiper motor. (Lost during the estate closing) Other than that enjoy the car the way it was meant to be. Car has an original owners manual and service manual. You could not restore the car for the price it is going to sell for. Any questions call at 602-919-7258 or email me. Thanks and keep them on the road! On Aug-26-12 at 18:39:30 PDT, seller added the following information: News Flash::::::::::::: we found all of the side curtains. originally there were four yes four side curtains. two front and two in back (1/4 panels). They are in ok shape but not restored to the level of the rest of the car, but they are the original curtains that went with the car. It helps to clean up once in a while :)On Aug-27-12 at 22:52:58 PDT, seller added the following information: For those of you who are interested in matching numbers, here they are xpag/td2/28812 for the engine and td28366 for the car #. On Aug-29-12 at 13:20:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Wow this car is fun to drive. I couldnt resist taking it out for a little spin so there is another 20miles or so on the restoration now :) Drove the car in the Arizona heat at 107 degrees with no problems cruising at 50mph. this car is a very solid restoration. Almost as fun to drive as my Jaguar......almost.On Aug-31-12 at 16:01:12 PDT, seller added the following information: I just lowered the reserve so if your serious about owning this car, put a bid in soon it is going to sell for a lot less than a fully restored car cost or what they are listed at in Hemmings motor news (27k plus)
