Vehicle Detail
Here is a fun little GT coupe with Air and factory over drive that works great. The car is in great shape for it age. It has a couple rust spots on the bottom of the right door and rocker panel but it is still very solid. The under side is perfect no rot at all. If you know about these cars you know that they all had problems at the tops of the fenders frt/rear at the seams this one isn't bad at all. It will need a windshield sometime, not cracked but turning white at the edges. I have a mossmotors rear tube shock conversion for it that I haven't had time to install. It has a weber down draft carb, way better than the SU's. I bought it to do a full restoration, would have been my 3rd or 4th one I love these cars, but my job takes all my time these days and I really want to see someone have fun with it. Runs Great goes down the road straight brakes are great the inside is very very good, one rip in the drivers seat. Headliner good, carpet good. This is a fun great daily driver as it is but could be a show car for someone with just a little know how. ask any questions you have I will answer all as good and soon as I can. It is for sale localy so I may end early. On Aug-24-12 at 13:21:59 PDT, seller added the following information: Thank you for the questions I do hope I was able to answer them for you who sent them. I cannot get pictures of the underside I don't have a lift sorry, the car looks to have been undercoated from new. all I can say is it is solid. Please don't think this is a show car as it sits it isn't. It is an unrestored 1973 British car that has been very well taken care of and garage kept. It has its small and I say small rust spots but there isn't a panel on it that needs to be replaced and that is hard to find on one of these. It is without a dought a perfect starting place for someone that wants an extreamly nice car when done. I have looked at alot of these that are priced way higher than my reserve and we are close to that now. Please don't ask what it is. If it dosen't hit it I will keep it and do it myself it will just take longer than I planned as in years probly, gotta work to pay bills. As I said drive it as is or build a beauty.
