FOR SALE - 1981 Pontiac Formula Firebird W50 ( 1 of 5927 made) Full frame off restoration. Car has about 3000 miles on it since rebuild. I have a binder with all receipts and paperwork. Built at the Norwood, Ohio plant. (build sheet, owners manual, showroom brochure and other original paper work included) Even original bumper jack/spare tire in trunk.- Paint: Barbados Blue Mica Metallic a color only available on the 2004 Pontiac G.T.O. Only 573 G.T.O's out of 15,740 came with that color. Floors, trunk, inside of fenders, quarters, frame and undercarriage painted in POR15 semi gloss black. This is a W50 Formula meaning it came with the special appearance package, I did not buy the decal kit and put it on in fear that it may turn away some potential buyers. I personally think the cars look great with the decal kit! And its only a few hundred bucks, but figured I would leave that up to the next owner to decide. - Fully rebuilt and upgraded 6.6 403 Trans Am V8 engine bored .30 over to make it a 6.7 409. Holly 650 double pumper carb, functional dual "ram air" hood scoops with honey comb style grill mesh to make it look like a factory Pontiac option, ceramic coated long tube headers, Full 2.5" stainless steel pypes performance dual exhaust system, edelbrock performer intake, MSD performance ignition system, mini high tourqe starter, high amp alternator, etc etc everythings new - Fully rebuilt and upgraded (shift kit etc) turbo350 automatic transmission- 3:73 posi rear end- All Brand new white/black "tuxedo" interior combo, gauges, dash, seats, carpet. Rebuilt door hinges, new gas tank/sending unit, working power windows etc etc- Car drives solid with new polyurethane body mount bushings, sub frame connectors, rear sway bar, front 1 1/4" sway bar and many other suspension upgrades- Original Pontiac rallyII rims restored with matching center caps, trim rings and lug nuts, brand new bfg tires. Rear factory tinted taillights with rare silver bird logo on gas door. And the list could go on and on. The cars not a perfect show car (few very small paint flaws, but its certainly pretty. Gets LOTS of attention when I take it to shows and local cruise nights. Its a great cruiser with a healthy amount of torque and HP. The car will only go up in value and will always be a collector.
