Lovingly reconditioned by private independant shop. Body off frame job performed over 4 year period, then stored for two years. All drivetrain components cleaned, inspected, bearings, seals, gaskets, fluids replaced. Motor rebuilt, new electronic ignition distributor, new battery, new battery cables, starter solenoid, voltage regulator, wiring harness, all new light bulbs. All 12 volt electrical system , new radiator and all hoses. Rebuilt carburetor, generator, starter. New brake shoes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, steel and rubber brake hoses. Rearched leaf springs with new bushings, shocks, and new hardware. Frame painted chassis black. All new exhaust system front to back. Body stripped to bare metal, body was originally a Western Utah dry climate vehicle and was virtually cancer free at the start. Body was primed and painted with multiple coats of Black two stage paint and polished to a smooth high gloss finish. Custom airbrushed simulated pine wood siding complete with knots on inset panels. All chrome replated in triple plate show finish. All new custom tinted glass throughout with all new rubber weatherstripping and seals. Floors front to rear have been sprayed with tough coat bedliner material for all weather durability. New oak wood cargo floor strips with stainless steel fasteners. Interior has had sound deadening insulation installed behind upholstery panels, seats and panels reupholstered in 4 ounce custom dyed Texas leather material. Custom audio installed by Alpine (MRP-M450 220w amplifier, CDA-9856 CD/MP3/WMA receiver, KCE-422i iPod interface w/ Polk db6750 6-3/4" & db960 6" x 9" 3-way speakers installed and wired), power amp installed on slide tray under driver seat, The "Willys Pine Box" is a great addition to your vacation home or log cabin! Has current Montana permanent registration. Vehicle is in storage in Northern California. Over $54-K spent on this project, but to preserve of domestic tranquility ( do not want to spend any more ) I will not be continuing with the final touches. Vehicle has been in storage and has 10 miles since reconditioning. This vehicle needs very little to be put in service: needs radio antenna drilled into body, stereo technician to final tune and interface radio, Motor runs and needs minor tuning due to sitting in storage for extended time. Vehicle is sold as-is where-is.
