This is a fully operational Porsche. Original engine and runs well. She has no body damage and is rust free.Well maintained and reliable, I inherited the car from my father when he passed away in 2004. He purchased her in Southern California in 1995 and then completely rebuilt and restored her until completion in 1997. During the rebuild, he took every nut and bolt off the car, took her down to metal, re-painted with factory porsche paint, and then meticulously put back together again with the input of his friend and neighbor, Dean Polopolous, owner of http://advanceperformanceeng.com/. Original paint code is Kunstharzlaxk 68-6603-G. Her factory champagne yellow paint is in good condition with very minimal chipping in isolated areas. She has an market exhaust system. She has had very minimal driving since I inherited her and been used more for weekend driving. I have kept her garaged the whole time during my ownership. Included with car: 5 additional original steel wheels with original hub caps, original spare tire, and Porsche 911 Workshop Manuals, 912 Service Guide, box of parts, and other relevant books. The front passenger seat adjustment is currently not working reliably. The cut out in the dash is approximately 2'' by 7.25'' and was originally used for a radio/tape deck (see pictures for reference). VIN: 456879. Engine: 747272. 4 speed transmission. Odometer reads 83, 080 miles. She has a new master cylinder, CV boots, and new tires (as of Aug 2012). Registered thru August 2013. For the last eight years, I have kept this car primarily for sentimental reasons but the time has come to pass her along. My hope if to find someone who is a true lover of these cars and who will enjoy her as much as my father did. Restoration included, but not limited to: • complete engine rebuild • shell sanded down to metal and repainted in factory color paint, champagne yellow • new window and door seals • new overhead lining and door lining • new leather front and rear dashboard • new leather rear seat upholstery and new vinal front seat upholstery (with fur seat covers) • new custom carpeting throughout interior This vehicle is being sold “as is” and the buyer is responsible for pick-up.
