Vehicle Detail
RELIST due to a non-paying bidder. PLEASE only bid if you are buying. NOTE: I DO have the Louisiana title I received when I bought the truck, CT does not issue titles but I will include old title and Bill Of Sale Up for auction / sale is a pretty mint 1973 Ford Bronco. This comes from my personal collection, I am an appraiser, own a licensed repair garage and collect various cars and motorcycles. I am selling to fund other toys :) Very rare to see one this clean east of the Mississippi, never mind the Northeast. PLEASE look at the pictures, they can't describe how clean this truck really is. Some background: I bought this truck as a near completed project about 2 years ago from down south. After getting the truck, the engine and transmission went bad. Last year, 2011, the truck received a brand new Jasper Stage 2 motor rated at 300 HP. It runs an Edelbrock carb/manifold setup (new 2011). The truck has a new TCI Streetfighter Ford C4 automatic transmission rated for 850HP as well as a new (rebuilt) Dana 20 transfer case. To summarize: The GREAT & highlights- new engine, transmission, transfer case and cooling system within the last 700 miles- powder coated frame, you can eat off most of the underneath of the truck- new power brakes (Wild Horses 4x4) with discs up front, drums in the rear- Warn 9500 xi winch - costs $2000 alone- Ford 9" rear with chromealloy axles (4.11 gears)- folder of the initial build (previous owner) build with pictures, over 35k in receipts- Skyjacker suspension, shocks, springs, lift 6"- Toms Bronco rollbar, custom half cab type- BRAND new, installed THIS WEEK - a double jointed rear drive shaft (pics show before install)- half top removable (12 bolts) and the doors have quick release stainless hinges- have wipers and covers, not installed as the truck is never driven in rain- have a new Toms Bronco back seat - needs to be installed- new iPod stereo receiver- almost new BF M/T's- MSD ignition system- custom headers and stainless exhaust AND a set of steel half doors - they need paint The so so or annoying:- There is nothing really broken or wrong, but a few annoyances- the paint on doors a slight lighter shade of yellow (painted after body)- there are rock chips, some nics, around the truck (it was street driven, not a concourse trailer queen) and couple of small dents on bottom of rockers (from previous owner)- gas gauge reads more gas than actual fuel level (it only has the small 13 gallon gas tank)- inside door handles are old and white should be replaced with black- this is a loud, pretty fast, attention getter that gets poor fuel economy - could be a good thing, I know I do not mind :) I have tried to describe the truck as best as possible, I want it to go to a new owner that will preserve and love the truck. The truck can be seen in Danbury CT located in zip: 06810 at my repair shop, please email your phone # if interested. The truck is for sale locally and can be pulled anytime. I am open to ALL fair offers. CT does NOT issue title for old vehicles and this truck is sold AS IS WHERE IS. You CAN register vintage Connecticut vehicles in your state. I will issue a signed Bill Of Sale / current registration signed over to you as well. I can assist with loading the truck and welcome any questions, I will email you my phone # if you want to talk about the truck.
