Vehicle Detail
This is a 1926 Pontiac 2 Door Sedan. I believe this is the first year for Pontiac. This is a true Barn Find. The car has been sitting in dry storage since approximately 1997. It has a Clear Title. The Car was repainted and reupholstered some time in the late 70s or early 80s. The Paint still looks good and the Interior is still in very nice condition. There is no rust in the body and the body is very straight for a vehicle this old. The Running Boards are Wood. I believe they were Wood from the Factory and had Rubber Mats glued to them. I do not have the Rubber Mats. All of the Fenders look really good and have several stamped raised ridges. They are far more decorative and attractive than the Fenders on a 1926 Ford. All of the Glass is in the car. It all looks good, except the Passenger Side Rear Window has a very small BB hole in it. Both the Door Windows and Rear Windows roll down. Two of the Window Cranks are missing and the Passenger Door Handle is missing. There are some other handles with the car, but I don't think they belong with the car. The Original top was probably leather. When the Car was restored, the Top was replaced with Black Vinyl. The new Top looks good and is in good condition. A Headliner was also added, when the Top was replaced. It also looks good and is in good condition. The Original Indian Head Radiator Cap is still with the car. It needs a little work to screw on correctly. I believe the Engine and Transmission to be original to the Car. The Engine starts and runs. The Transmission shifts through the Gears. The Brakes are Mechanical and are weak. They need adjusting or maybe re-shoeing. The Car is sitting on Original Wooden Artillery Style Wheels and Vintage Tires. The Wheels and Tires are in good condition. The car will run, but you cannot fly here and drive it home. You will need a trailer to get it home. I may be able to assist with delivery, for a fee, within a few hundred miles of Canton, Ohio. This car is very complete and original, it would be great for shows or to restore and cruise or parade. I am listing this Car with a good description and good pictures, but I will try to answer any questions through email. This Car is being listed with a low start price and no reserve. It will sell to the highest bidder.
