Odometer: 152,012 VIN: 1HGEM1152YL002712 Price: $5,750 Phone: (319)830-2130 Email: Johnson.ericks@gmail.com Legit Si Model: No factory, or aftermarket, spoiler. Includes Si cluster, VTEC passenger side panel, and stock Si engine block. The bad: No AC No trunk carpet Micro scratches on hood and trunk from road damage (barely visible) Micro dents, very few of them, from who knows where (barely visible—have to feel for them) Scratches and dents that do exist on the vehicle are unnoticeable from more than a few feet away, thus not affecting the overall physical appearance Have not been able to maintain E-brake strength, so car must be put in gear when parked/unattended The good: Zero rust—car is well-maintained, regular car washes and oil changes (synthetic oil and premium fuel, though car manual does not require them) Clean title Timing belt and clutch replaced at 110k mark Ball joints, brake pads, outer tie rods, and front right wheel bearing replaced in last 6 months. 4 new tires (>85% tread) also in last 6 months. Regularly cleaned engine compartment and underbody All electronics function correctly and without fuss—CD player, power windows, cruise control, moon roof, car charger jack, wipers, washer fluid, and rear defroster Quarter panels and wheel wells hand-washed monthly (on top of regular car washes) Short-throw shifter, so shifting is smooth, no slip, and very comfortable Clutch is tight and solid—will easily get another 100k out of the clutch Zero mods—vehicle is 100% stock (zero aftermarket [non-Honda] modifications or repairs), so if you’re looking for a project car this one’s ready to be messed with. Alternatively, zero mods means the car hasn’t already been toyed with, so if you’re looking for a good civic that has stayed away from the modding DIY’er (do-it-yourself’er), this car is home. Previous owner kept the car garaged for the 7 years he owned it; I have not spoken with the original owner, but I’m very picky about my purchases and the previous owner took great care of her. That should about cover it. The car has treated me great; I suppose if it’s so awesome, why don’t I just keep it? Well, I’d like to, but I’ll be in OCS class 212 for the Marine Corps in January, and the only way to keep any of your stuff is to put it in a vehicle since they allow zero personal items outside of what they issue you inside the barracks. As a result, I need a larger vehicle. I’m not in a huge rush to sell, have about 4 months before I really need to “get rid of it,” but I’m smart enough to know a good offer when I see it. I’m aiming a bit high on the price, and I am aware of that. But, the market value of a car according to kbb, and NADA for that matter, tends to be based on certain averages. This car is the Si model with zero mods, has been very well-maintained, and has zero rust, so I know what the car is worth. Price is negotiable, but I know how rare of a find a car like this can be; after all, I had to find this car when I was trying to buy one myself. If you want any information about the vehicle whatsoever, call, text, or email me. My job is fast-paced, so I’m in a habit of responding quickly to communique… Thank you very much for your interest, and happy car shopping! - Eric
