1949 Ford truck. Has been chopped with a slight wedge chop for a sinister look. Channeled over stock frame and drivetrain. Coke cooler seats. Bed has been shortened, but not completely bobbed to look silly. Looks just right. Stock '49 flathead V8, 3spd manual transmission. I purchased this several years ago as it sits now as a project for my son and I to do. He never had interest, I never had time, so it has sat covered and unchanged except I had new exhaust put on it, short glasspacks. Currently needs fuel pump, and a rear tire (will hold air long enough to push it onto a trailer) but otherwise does run and drive like a '49 Ford. As stated, it is as I purchased it. There is enough work left to make a fun project, i.e. cab corners need finished as pictured, or just leave it as is. The cool part is that I did purchase a ton of additional period correct parts for it. So basically you're getting a 'rat rod in a box' kit. Additional goodies include: Nice set of offenhauser polished heads. offenhauser 2x2 intake with carbs, linkage, and caps. Full set of 1935 Ford wheels that have been sand blasted and primed ready for paint Center caps for the wheels An extra radiator (one currently in truck has issues) 2 steelie wheels and slicks as seen in first photo. (I had taken them off and put on narrow tires to mach the fronts). So if you decide to run piecrust cheaters instead of the spokes on the rear you have the wheels.
