" Lets build the car of your Dreams" Hello all , First before I go any further I want to be upfront and honest . I received bad feedback on a transaction where I thought when I stated deposit immediatly at auctions end meant exactly that . To my dismay even if I say immediatly by ebays rules and guidelines the buyer has 48 hours to send deposit. I have to take that one on the chin. I only wanted serious buyers and thought when someone states immediatly and when I gave my phone number in the ad there would be common respect. This ad I am not going to get myself in that predicament and I will not be in that predicament ever again. i will not ask for a deposit, only a phone call to work out the details , then once we have worked out the details we can arrange for payment. This should be within ebays rules and guidelines as I worked very hard for my feedback and have bent over backwards and have delivered to cars to a photo shoot in Carmel , California and delivered cars as far away as Las Vegas ,several delivered to Los Angeles and San Francisco and to the Port for oversea's buyers. I have pictures of other cars I have restored and I can send any and all video links of restorations and everything from drivers to show cars. Now lets get to the beetle. This is a 1972 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible and I am going to let the pictures do most of the talking but I will point out the obvious so there is no confusion. This is being sold including the final restoration where you can pick the final colors of the Convertible top,interior , carpet and door panels and seat covers ( orginal factory correct material and patterns) . I currently have a black convertible top installed but I can easily switch it to white . I have another top frame I can use . This is not and I repeat not just a cheap convertible top, this is a very high quality top , padding and a brand new headliner . Most of these cars you find , they do not replace the headliner and you have a beautiful top on the outside and a faded and cracked headliner that's falling down . This car has a brand new 1600 cc engine and a brand new manual 4 speed . The brakes are also brand new with DISC in front and drum in the back . The paint is only a couple weeks old and was painted inside and out and the body was rust FREE and 98% dent free . The floor pans have No rust and no patches and the jack support rails are perfect as well as the shock towers. Also included brand new just out of the box , New Running Boards, New Chrome Moldings, New Mirrors both sides, New Gravel Guards front and rear, New fender beading,New front and rear Bumpers , New dash , New headlight doors, New front turn signals, New rubber around the trunk and engine lid and much more . This is a complete running and driving car once restoration is finished . You can jump in and go and it will be turn key ready so please do not ask does it runs? You can expect roughly 30 or so days for the car to be completed unless you order colors that are not in stock and may take longer to receive . I have gotten the car to this point so the buyer does not have to wait months to get the convertible top installed or some restoration shops you could be waiting a year . This is not a show car but a very nice show and shine car that you could be very proud of and have for many years of enjoyment. Terms: No deposit but email at the end of auction and half winning bid due within 4 days of auctions end by bank wire transfer,bank certified funds or paypal . The final payment can be made at time of pick up or within 48 hours of completion and I will picture and video the car from top to bottom for the new owner with the owners name and date on a posterboard.
