For Sale here is a piece of history made better !!! this is a wonderful Ford Ranger EV 2000 with super low original miles , it was owned by a school district so it was not used a lot on the road ... These vehicles were recalled and most of them crushed, this one is one of them that slipped by .. I updated the batteries to the newest LiFepo4 cells , this version is a 60ah version .. to up the voltage to 370 volts I installed 108 cells ... this increases from the original 335 volts and allows these smaller size cells to produce enough energy consistently to move this truck to a commute of 60 to 70 miles with a full charge ............ I recommend a daily commute of 50 to 60 miles to the charge for long life of the cells ... they should run for at least 2000 cycles .. so the pack should last for at least 100,000 miles ................................... the pack is very easily removed from the truck for any needed repairs by 6 large main bolts and 3 electrical connectors ... with my lift I can remove the pack and have it open for repairs in less then 30 minutes .............. these are amazing vehicles , if you are tired of giving out your hard earned money to the oil companies .. you can use local and totally emissions free electricity .. with my solar system I produce 600ah of energy daily ........ in our area we have the ability and choice of using and paying for green electrons .............. I drive one myself daily, my brother in law drives one daily and my father drives one daily .... I drive mine 7 days a week I average 40 to 50 miles a day of driving ............... since 2006 my personal truck now has almost 50,000 electric miles on it ..... I updated this one to now use the new J1772 plug in connector now used on all the public charging stations .................... If you have any questions feel free to ask .................... I updated the batteries to the newest LiFepo4 cells , This truck I have now updated to 100AH cells (they are actually 110ah cells) ... this truck will now commute 80 to 100 miles ............................ I drove it for 85 miles to test it and still had 1/4 of a tank left ............ you can see the specs for these 100ah calbs on the site lithiumstorage.com .............. these are great batteries ............................................ this truck does have the j1772 update ............. you can use any of the chargers up and down the I-5 freeway now ........... this upgrade from the 60ah to the 100ah is a $5,000 upgrade making this truck even worth more !!! any questions feel free to ask ......................................
