This 1980 Pontiac car was an original INDY 500 Pace Car. This car does not have the original engine or transmission. I had purchased this car back in April 1991 from the original owner which makes me the second owner of this car. The original owner had the car garage kept as well. I also had the car garage kept, never seen winter or driven in the rain and comes from a smoke- free environment. I have had the car stripped to bare metal and repainted with glasurit paint. This product is the best paint. The car has 16,001 original miles on the body and less then 2000 miles on the transmission. The engine is a Big Block 427 Chevy Engine carbureted. The transmission is a five speed Doug Nash 4+1 the fifth gear is an actual gear and not overdrive. The clutch is a competition Ram Clutch. The car has SuperComp Hooker Headers. The car is 90% complete, the car interior needs to be finished which I was in the process of doing so but do not have the time to finish. The interior had been covered completely in Dynamat. I have purchased the new interior carpeting ( color black) ready to be installed. I have all the interior parts except for the two front bucket seats. I have two sets of T-Tops (1) set is mirrored and the other set is black comes with the T-Top storage bags. The car is in running condition but again will need to complete the interior. The value of this car stands at over 30,000.00 again the body is ALL ORIGINAL parts there had been no replacement panels or rust on this car and had never been in an accident.
