Thanks for taking the time to look at my auction. Up for bid we have a 1978 VW Beetle. The Beetle is in exceptional shape for it's age. Exterior is white with a white interior. . The car starts right up and drives nice. Engine, and Transmission all feel great. Vehicle drives great as it should. Odometer reads 38,183 (it will have a couple more miles once auction is over from being test driven) Please look closely at all the pictures and ask and and all questions before bidding. As you can see the vehicle has rust in all the typical places and would make a great restoration car or a daily driver. Convertible top functions properly and has a glass rear window. The Beetle will need some restoration work to bring it to perfect condition along with paintwork. The floorboard seem pretty solid to me I just check them out and they look good. The rust is in the engine compartment on the hinges, also on both the driver and passenger side the door sills and running boards have some rust on them, The chrome on the vehicle is rusting also but I would imagine with some buffing on that it would still be OK. I just put in a new battery into the vehicle also. the hood has a spot where the paint has chipped off and is beginning to rust also also on the body itself the paint is cracked in a several places it's starting to rust.
