I have for sale my 1979 ford F250 4x4. I have owned this truck for almost 20 years. I bought it as a 2 wheel drive and converted it to a 4x4 chassis 6 years ago (hence) the reconst. title, Arizona required it of me. the Truck was refinished 12 years ago and is in great shape. The engine is a 460 with a small RV cam and roller rocker arms, it also has a Edelbrock intake manifold and dual exaust. when the trans was converted from a 2wd to a married 4x4 the tailshaft needed to be swapped so i had the transmissin rebuilt at the same time. When the chassis swap was done the entire runnig gear was refinished with black imron and is spotless. This truck gets used so little that I have decided to sell it ... we might have driven it 1000 miles in the last 5 years, It was used primarily for pulling our boat and we do not boat much anymore. the tires are new and are swamper IROK radials 16.5 /13/39.5. On Aug-09-12 at 21:08:04 PDT, seller added the following information: The axles are a Dana 60 in the rear, and a 44 up front. and they are geared 4:10. I mentioned in a message to another interesed party that when the lift kit was installed the driveshafts were replaced new/custom built to length. I also noticed the steering box had a slight leaks so I bought a new one. I canot deal with a lifted truck that has any fluid leaks, all of the undercarriage is spotless and I wanted it to stay that way. I have never , ever driven this truck off road, it is for towing our boat only. The rear bumper was powdercoated several years ago and it had faded in the AZ heat, sun so both it and the rear hitch reciever have been recently re-done and are georgous.
