Up for sale a second time as we had some incorrect information on this vehicle previously. This is an extremely rare 1940 Dodge 1/2 Ton Panel Truck. The engine is a 1952 230cid Flathead. Most all of the original parts are there, it does turn over but does not run. Engine has new head gasket, plugs, points, rotor, master cylinder (needs wheel cylinders to be rebuilt). Truck needs to be totally rewired, parts missing on pop-out for the windshield. Also, I do have the front and rear bumpers as well as new door/window rubber. I also have 5 original Dodge center wheel caps. There is new oak wood panels in the rear. The truck has a soft top in good condition. This car has the original frame, the door post model number matches the engraved number on the frame, previous owner redrilled different wheels to put on car. Truck is in very good shape, no rust and would make an excellent rebuild/resto. I recently registered into my name for a non-op title. It was owned by a older gentleman for many years, a lover of Jazz, he painted graphics from a famous records store in Hollywood on the side, hoping it would be used in a movie. He subsequently sold to a restorer who unfortunately had to sell, and then I purchased it to restore, but must now sell.
