Vehicle Detail
1992 GEO METRO CONVERTIBLE This is a nice example of a Metro Convertible. They were only made for 3 years and this is a nice one. I bought this car along with 3 other metros from a gentleman who didn't want them anymore. One was mint with only 28k on it. Two were daily drivers that were so so, and this one, was for some odd reason their parts car. Seemed strange to me because it is virtually RUST FREE!! So I put it back together to make a very nice car. The motor I used was out of a wrecked metro that only had 31000 on it. I do have the title and autocheck report for documentation. I painted it a couple of years ago and have been driving it ever since. The top I put on this summer, It is new, and does work as it should. the boot is all there, and works too. The convertible top seals are all present and don't leak. The windshield does have some wiper scrub, and one stone chip. The side windows have the usual wear that these cars have. All the lights work, as does everything else electrical. It has a new cd player with the usb and aux plug on the front. The interior is in nice shape. There are no cracks in the dash, no rips or tears in the seats, although there is one small spot in the blue piping coming loose. The carpet is in ok shape with no major stains. The visors are there, and the center control bezel isn't broke. I put new hubs bearings and brakes on it a couple of months ago. It doesn't leak any fluids of any kind, and it doesn't smoke. The gas tank isn't rotted out, and the fuel filler tube is solid. The exhaust is almost new. The rims I had from another geo, they are 14 inch with nice rubber. Two are new from in the fall. I have put about 4 thousand miles on it since I've been driving it. It did come equipped with A/C, but it will need a belt and a charge. I never bothered with it. The is no rust holes in it any where, nor were there ever. The control arm mounts are solid, and so is the floor and rockers. There are a couple of chips and scrubs, but nothing sizable. This car runs out nice. I've been getting around 43mpg with it. It has the spare and all the tools that come with it. This would make a nice car for anyone because it is an automatic. Good luck and Happy Bidding. Thanks, SCOTT 810-650-0230 I'll be happy to answer post any questions in my ebay messages that you may have. AND OK, IT'S NO RESERVE!!!!
