Let me start off by telling any looker / bidder , that I am listing this auction for a close friend of mine that I have known for 17 years now and am backing him with my feedback reputation in anything that he describes as being 100% honestly represented . That being said , bid with confidence that this car is everything you see , and then some ! I own a large classic car / hotrod restoration facility here in South Texas which is how I and the seller met years ago and I can honestly say that , anything this gentleman owns is the best of the best and he is VERY anal in respect to keeping it perfect . The car is one of the cleanest 1997 , 25,500 mileage Vipers that you will probably ever sit in . It has never been wrecked and the ONLY paint work that has ever been performed after it rolled off the showroom is the front bumper cover where it scraped the ground on the very bottom . This was done last week at a reputable restoration facility . It has one tiny imperfection in the paint on the rear tail panel about the size of pencil eraser that you have to get within 2 feet of the car to see . Looks like something lightly bumped it while getting in the trunk but it is not dented . The car's factory finish is absolutely stunning from top to bottom and shows very well . The car's interior still smells new and has NEVER been smoked in and is flawless . All the fluids including transmission and rear differential have just been completely serviced at the Dodge dealershio using all factory Viper fluids . The car has had tastefull mods added without getting carried away , ie.: Ballenger headers with Cat Back exhaust , and HRE 18" wheels w/ brand new Mitchelin Pilot Sport tires just mounted less than 500 miles ago . The HRE wheels alone are 10K !! I would invite anyone that is seriously interested to come look at this car in person and you will not be dissapointed in what you see as the car speaks for itself . The seller will definitely listen to all trade offers as he loves "Man Toys" .... Classic cars ..... Harleys .... Boats ....Firearms ......Land ...... what do you have , he said " try me , ya never know " ?????? This car is not being sold because of money issues so no low ballers need apply . I feel I have priced the car VERY FAIR for what I have seen on the market and it is priced to sell and not be listed over and over using the internet as a " Virtual Car Museum" as I have watched many do over the years . Feel free to ask any questions at all and they will be promptly answered and answered with honesty . Like I said , we invite anyone to come look the car over up close and in person and bring your body guy , mechanic , wife support , etc , etc . If you are looking for an attention getter that is a cut above the competition , this is a nice one for sure . It demands attention everywhere she goes !!! If you do not have the funds available , DO NOT BID and waste everyone's time and efforts !!! The car will NOT leave until the seller has money in hand so all you scammers can forget it , don't even waste your time trying that crap here as it will not work ........ The owner just informed me that he also has a custom made cover that he paid just over 2K to have made to fit the car with the wing that will go with it as well as a new set of billet pedals that were never installed as he has no use for either when the car is sold . The car comes with the complete history of maintenance and all invoices of extras since new . He does not finance cars . He may take a down payment to hold the car until you come up with the rest , but that's it . A bank is NOT going to make a loan on a 1997 ANYTHING .... unless you have absolute bullet-proof credit .... even then , they may not because of policies within the bank you are dealing with . I have one gentleman with a 780 FICO score average that was just told no because of the year model . This all being said ... PLEASE DO NOT BID ..... if you simply do not have the resources available to buy this car ! The winning bid is NOT to think about owning it or seeing if you can get financing . If you are the winning bidder and cannot come through , you have just wasted 10 days of auction time and answering 10 days worth of questions as well as the listing fees AND final value fee that I will be charged . Not trying to sound mean , but I am getting waaay too many people sending me messages about bidding that do not sound as if they have the money to own this car .
