2000 VW Passat for parts or repair. 58k miles. Selling whole car. Many good parts. Garage kept the last 12 years. Just purchased from the original owner 1 week before for my daugther when someone ran a stop sign and hit the right front wheel and hinge pillar area. Car was in mint condition before the accident. I need to get another car and can't take the time to try and get the car fixed. Need to sell this week. Not expert but car may be repairable rebuildable for someone with the right tools and time. The parts are apparently very cheap as I saw a whole right front at Beacon Auto Salvage in Beacon, New York in white for $400 which is the car in the last picture in the listing. Car needs repair to the upper rail and hinge pillar area. Also needs knuckle, strut, lower control arms and axle. There was a fire under the hood which destroyed the plastic engine covers, ignition coils, airbox and right headlight. There is also fire damage to the radiator support and wiring. All exterior panels have original paint except the left rear quarter was painted for a minor repair a year or so after the car was new. 1.8 turbo engine Code AWM in excellent condition with no fire damage except the ignition coils.
