I have an original 1976 FORD GRAN TORINO S & H STARSKY and HUTCH MOVIE AND TV SERIES CAR, These were a special limited production number car that were built by FORD. Very few of these are left and have survived over the years. This one came with the S CODE 400 M ENGINE AND C6 TRANS. and a 9" rear end, AC and POWER DISC BRAKES AND POWER STEERING. DUEL SPORT MIRRORS. IT IS a numbers matching car and has the original BUILD sheet with it for documentation. IT IS THE 022 S & H CODED CAR. IT NEEDS TO BE RESTORED! but it would not take much to get it driving again. IT does have some minor rust spots in floor pans and back panel below rear window and some other spots in trunk. But the car is very solid and good solid frame. The hood is bad and would need to be changed out. IT will need a brake job, exhaust,and a gas tank to get her up and driving. I have had a lot of interest in the S&H car and a lot of questions about it. I will try to answer them all now. I have posted more pics of the car as requested and I will try to describe it in more detail. The doors, front fenders, rear quarters, inner and outer rocker panels are solid. The frame is solid. The hood has rust along the front edge. It may can be fixed, but i would change it out. The carpet was removed to see how bad the floors are and they are not to bad. They do have some rust out spots in the bottom part of the floors, where you would put your feet. The drivers side is solid and only has a couple very small spots and is not to bad at all. The passenger side front has a little more rust but i think it can be saved with some small patches. The passenger side rear floor pan is the worst and will probably need that pan replaced. The trunk has some small spots in it. but again not bad and can be fixed . All glass is good. but the windshield is cracked on the upper passenger side, but does not hurt anything and can still be used . It is missing the passenger side rear lower trim piece. but all other trim is there. It has a dent in the left front fender above the trim, just behind the front tire. IT was done years ago loading it on a trailer. But it is not bad at all and can be straightened out easy. SEE PIC. As for as i can tell the car has never been wrecked and has all the original panels. The car was parked in 1990 and the millage is original, But no way to prove it, so no guarantees on that! The car has been started and driven from time to time just to keep it going, but it has not been started up in the last year or so. The car came from AL. and they do not tittle cars this old just a registration. I have a current registration from the owner with a current tag and a signed notarized Bill of sell from him. you should be able to get a title in your state with this. Please check with your state to see what all you need. IF needed i can get a TN. but it will take a couple weeks. IF its not a DSO 022 CODED CAR ITS NOT REAL! THE LAST ONE SOLD FOR $25000 THESE ARE THE MOST COLLECTIBLE AND WILL ONLY GO UP IN VALUE. THIS CAR IS A GREAT NUMBERS MATCHING CAR THAT IS A CHEAP WAY TO GET A REAL CAR AND A GREAT INVESTMENT, DONT MISS OUT ON A REAL ONE! THIS IS A GOOD EASY PROJECT TYPE CAR.
