This car is in very good condition, and I am the original owner. It has been parked outside in my driveway on Long Island, New York, for the last six years, and was once unfortunately caught in a small hail storm (unusual for this area), leaving a few dimples on the car's exterior (see photos); there are a few driver-side carbon smudges on the interior near the window from a cigarette (I smoked in the car the first year only before I quit for good; again, see photos); and within the last half year, the trunk has sometimes required more than one 'attempt' before it will close properly--not sure what that's about, to be honest--otherwise, it has never been in an accident or serviced beyond the recommended visits at particular mileage milestones. The car's special features include: 16" alloy wheels with anti-theft locks; an in-dash, 6-disc CD changer (MP3 format readable); and an anti-theft alarm system for both vehicle and radio. I leased the car when first released in 2006 for three years, and then exercised my option to purchase the car at the end of the lease period in 2009 directly from Volkswagen Credit, Inc. The car has had its recommended service visits at 5,000, 10,000, and 15,000 miles, for which I have all receipts. Buyer responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping. A deposit of $500.00 USD via PayPal is required within 72 hours after end of listing; and the remainder balance due within seven days after end of listing. Will accept Cashier's Check or Cash only, and will await for funds to successfully transfer in the case of the former before releasing the vehicle.
