How Sad :-( I have owned this vehicle for the past 5 years and it has been a gem never gave me any problems whatsoever, always started and run like a dream. Last Wednesday while driving down the road she just quit on me and wouldn't start back up. Had her towed and apparently the timing belt broke. Was told that IF the valves weren't driven through the motor when the belt broke, then it could be repaired for under $1000 .... if not it would need a new engine. (Mechanic said 8 out of 10 times it does NOT need a new engine and can be fixed under $1k) No way to know for sure until the engine is taken apart. I am a single parent and need a vehicle so I don't have the 3-4 weeks to go without a vehicle while someone tears her down. My loss is your gain. This vehicle has been a dream for me and I sure do hate to let her go. Anyway, what you really want to know... the body is in good condition with the one exception of a dent in the front passenger fender where a tree fell on her (see pics). No rust and no bubbling in paint. Of coarse she has some door dings from those inconsiderate parking lot folks, and a few minor scratches here and there as expected for her age. Interior is in excellent condition, all seats have always been covered since I've owned her, all power, everything works, rear defog, cold air (just recharged in July) no smoking allowed, no pets and yes I am a single parent but my son has remained in a car seat (special needs) so there have been no spilled drinks or coloring on the seats or any other things you may associate with kids being in a car :P Recent additions : Oil changed and new brake pads installed in June 2012, air (freon) charged in July 2012, back tires are brand new! mounted 10 days before she died, front tires are relatively new as well. Just passed safety and emissions test in June 2012 with no problems. The long rectangular vent on the passenger dash (by the windshield) cracked and broke shortly after I bought her. I never replaced it, the broken piece is still in the vehicle (in the back storage). Forgot to get a pic of that but I can if needed, just let me know. I do have a reserve listed (what the salvage yard will give me) but I would much rather see her go to an individual than be parted out. She has been an absolute dream for me and I know she could be for someone else too, she just needs a day at the spa to rejuvenate :-D I have a clear title in hand. Have taken some pictures but can take more if requested.
