Offered for 3 days with NO RESERVE is my 1-owner 1968 Deluxe RARE 9 passenger SURVIVOR Volkswagen bus. Its still wearing its BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL NEPTUNE BLUE PAINT and looks AMAZING for being over 40 years old! The summer of 1968 was a very exiting year for the original owners as they decided to take a trip down to Las Vegas Volkswagen and purchase a beautiful 1968 Deluxe rare 9 passenger VW bus. Throughout the years, this bus was driven on a daily basis and enjoyed until the kids got older. In 1983 it was then retired with less than 60k miles and stored away for over 25 years. It still has the original bias ply tires on the rear! It has not been started while in my possession, so it will be sold as-is, not running needing wakeup work, brakes, etc. As you can see, the body is real solid and nice. I have a correct full-length middle seat that will be included with the sale. Of course, it has minor scratches and indentations; after all it’s over 40 years old. All the gaps and panels are factory German perfect. The bus is really solid for being over 40 years old. The interior is original and nice for its age, the headliner is near perfect. As you can see in the pictures, this bus is 100% SOLID as a ROCK. The front floors have some minor cancer and that's it. With a few minor dings and scratches over the years, it sports an AWESOME PATINA. It’s a known FACT that original survivor vehicles will always command the most respect and value! These are getting VERY hard to find in original condition. Please don’t ask me what she needs to get running as I’m not a mechanic. This is a perfect bus for the enthusiast who loves a vintage Deluxe VW bus. You will be hard pressed to find one that’s original and untouched like this one.
