I had to relist because some bozo won the auction and then decided to try and get bank financing. Please do not bid unless you are ready to buy. If you have zero feedback please email me before you bid. I had to adjust this auction so zero feedback can not bid. NO RESERVE!!!! NO RESERVE!!! High Bidder Wins!! 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera, 6 Speed Yellow/Black Leather, 57,000 Miles 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera Water Cooled 3.4L V6 Engine. 6-Speed Manual Transmission. RWD. This is a beautiful, rare “fast yellow” Porsche 911 (996) this car looks and runs like a new car. Everyone that has seen it thinks it is a year or two old at most. The paint is beautiful, interior is clean and it runs strong. I have driven this around town a few times and I have several people come to look at it whenever I stop. I would never have told you that I wanted a yellow car until I seen this one, it is very classy and sexy. Just the wheels and tires alone on this car are worth over $6,000. It has 19” Champion Forged Aluminum Monolite Wheels. The tires are in good shape and ZR rated. This car will do 0 to 60 in 4.9 seconds and has a top speed of 178 mph. All that and it still held 17 mpg in the city and 25 highway. This would make an awesome commuters car with only 57,000 miles on it. With the upgrades this car has it sold for over $75,000 new (not including the Champion Monolite Wheels). You could still park this next to any Ferrari or new Porsche and it will hold its own. I moved to Texas in 2008 and decided to get my car dealer license because I love to buy and sell cars and motorcycles. It has always been more of a hobby than a business (thank god, or I would starve) I started buying cars from insurance companies about 4 years ago and fixing them up. I have built hot rods and Toyota Landcruisers for many years so I knew it would be a good fit for me to rebuild cars that had been involved in a collision. I learned some valuable lessons the first year. I do not buy cars that have any frame damage or have had an airbag deployed. I like to stay away from cars that have any front end collision that could affect the drivetrain in any way. I only sell a few cars a month and I know all of the cars very well. I spend a lot of time inspecting cars before I purchase. This car is a rare find! I found this car in Austin and purchased it from an insurance company. The damage was to the left front wheel and the control assembly. I replaced the front lower control arm, the front lower control arm link, the tie rod, radiator and radiator support bracket. I also replaced the front wheel on the passenger side. The front bumper was scratched but not dented so I had the entire front bumper and right front fender repainted in the original “fast yellow” paint. I felt it was best to get rid of all the rock chips in the front bumper and make the front end match the rest of the car. I have pictures of the car before the repairs were made as well. I have driven the car several hundred miles since the repairs were made and even took it up to 130mph for a bit to make sure it had no issues. (at least that was my excuse) This car is awesome to drive! This car still has a salvage title but I will give you a “certificate of rebuild”. If you take the title and certificate of rebuild to the DMV they will issue you a new title that will be a standard title. Some states will put a note in the remark section that says “rebuilt” or “prior salvage” but the new title will allow you to get full coverage insurance and finance the vehicle if desired. You will be very happy with this car. It is solid, drives perfect and would rate in “excellent” shape. I have already had the state inspection done. I would drive this car across the country without any worries. (I have plenty of volunteers to drive it across country if you want it delivered) Issues: This is the first car I have ever sold that I cannot report any issues with. I took lots of pictures but I strongly suggest that you come to New Braunfels Texas and drive it. If you drive it, you will want it! If there were any way to justify keeping this car I would hang onto it, just not in my budget. You will save a bundle of money on this car! This car will sell to the high bidder regardless if that is $500 or $25,000. I really hope to get what this car is worth but I will trust the auction to bring whatever the market will pay. Whoever wins this bid will be very happy! I will be glad to help with shipping and I know a hand full of guys that would gladly drive this to anywhere in the country to deliver it. I will be happy to help you arrange to get the car to your home as long as it has been paid for before it leaves my driveway. I would suggest that you fly into San Antonio or Austin and let me pick you up at the airport. You would enjoy the drive home and give you a chance to get to know your new car. The winning bidder will need to pay a $500 deposit within 24 hours and the balance within 5 days. You can leave the car here as long as you wish once it is paid for. This is a true NO RESERVE! High Bidder Wins! Here is some info on the 911: Porsche 996 From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The Porsche 996 is the internal designation for the Porsche 911 model manufactured and sold between 1998 and 2005. It has since been replaced by the Type 997. Both body styles were produced by Porsche in 2005, based upon model type. At its debut, the 996 featured the most significant changes to the Carrera model since its 1963 introduction; the most significant change with this new iteration is the water-cooled engine replacing the previously air-cooled engine. Progressively stringent noise regulations, environmental concerns, a higher expectation for refinement and a high-performance 4 valve per cylinder engine made the switch necessary. The 996 Carrera (non GT and Turbo models) engine is designed with what Porsche calls the "integrated dry sump oiling". This "integrated dry sump" engine does not have an oil scavenge pump in the crankcase to pump the engine oil to a separate holding tank outside the crankcase as a true dry sump design would have. The only scavenge pumps in the 996 engine are in the camshaft boxes and the oil is pumped from there to the bottom of the crankcase as it would be in any "wet sump" engine. Other changes include a sleeker body with a more steeply raked windshield and a re-designed interior. The Porsche 996 was an all new design made by Harm Lagaay; the first new 911 that didn't carry over a significant component from a previous variant. All new body work, interior and drive-train including the first water-cooled engine in a 911. The Porsche 996 replaced the Porsche 993. NO RESERVE !!
