Vehicle Detail

Welcome to our eBay Auction! 1986 Lada 21013 (1200s) Sedan Here's something unique for those who want something different for their collection or as an excellent daily driver. You are bidding on a very low mileage, TWO OWNER LADA 1200s sedan in beautiful condition. The LADA is virtually unknown in America but much beloved in Europe, especially Central Europe where they were considered the premium family car of the Soviet Era. Produced by the Russian car manufacturer AvtoVAZ from 1970 thru 1987, the LADA 2101 is a modified version of the Fiat 124 with thicker gauged steel, improved sound proofing, improved rust-proofing and a more robust overhead cam engine. It has a reputation of being "indestructible" , easy to maintain and built to last. I find them to be very high quality, fun to drive, comfortable, quiet on the freeway, powerful enough to go nearly 100 MPH and are very dependable. I think you will also find it to be a very impressive car! Stunning two-owner Lada with only 41k original miles. Hands down our most popular export to the U.S., the ultra-retro ex-Soviet LADA 21013 is an extremely well-built car capable of covering hundreds of thousands of miles, is fun to drive, reliable and practically unheard of in America. The adorable LADA 21013 was built for Soviet-era working class who needed a reliable yet inexpensive form of transportation for commuters who didn't have close-by access to public transportation. Most had to wait an astounding 5-10 years just to get one after signing the waiting list. Can you imagine the pride of ownership they had? After purchasing their first automobile, Hungarians usually threw a party to show all their friends and family the new car. Can you imaging the pride of ownership? This Lada is in excellent condition: very-low original kilometers, nice original interior, excellent rust-free body and shiny paint. The motor starts up quickly in hot or cold weather and runs excellent. Gearbox, brakes and suspension all feel tight and well-maintained. The paint still gleams, the engine runs like showroom new and the interior still has the characteristic "Lada" smell to it (somewhat like a classic VW Beetle). This is exactly what makes my job so fun. I love finding these cars and I equally love the satisfaction my buyers have when the car shows up at their doorstep in the U.S. Flaws: minor paint scratches, minor driver's seat wear. Keep in mind this LADA weighs only around 2000 lbs, so the 60 HP engine kicks the car along pretty well. In fact, the power to weight ratio is right in line with later vintage Porsche 356s, and even better than the earliest 356 models. Fuel mileage is excellent (30-40 mpg) and it takes regular unleaded gasoline (no additives needed). Because this Lada is well over 25 years old it is now exempt from U.S. importation red tape. Importation is straight forward and takes just 30-45 days to arrive to your nearest U.S. port. All vehicles 25 years or older are exempt from DOT and NHTSA regulations and are streamlined through customs. We have now exported over a dozen LADAs to the U.S. and know the "ins and outs" of the process. Please contact me directly for more info: 801-203-3454 (skype-in number). The U.S. dollar currently very strong against EU currencies, so now is the time to consider importing a LADA! Just turned 25 years old for green-light through U.S. Customs! This is an exceptional car folks. We have exported many of these to the U.S. and provide excellent support from start to finish. Feel free to call with any questions: (801) 203 3454 Matt Terms of Sale $500 non-refundable deposit via Paypal is required within 24 hours from auction close. The balance is due within 7 business days and must be paid by traditional bank to bank transfer. I try to be as flexible as possible however. Cash in person is always welcome if you choose to take delivery of vehicle in Hungary. This has been a popular option for some of my American buyers who want to cruise around Europe in style without having to rent a car. Hungary is centrally located in mainland Europe bordering Austria, Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia. And of course you don't want to miss the important tourist destinations of Hungary: Budapest and Eger, (our city) especially if you want to taste some of the world-famous wines here! Importation to the U.S. We export worldwide All vehicles 25 year or older are exempt from U.S. DOT and NHTSA regulations. If you've ever listed a classic car on eBay you likely have received calls from interested European buyers. Selling to Europeans is just as easy as Europeans exporting a car to an American. However, Americans pay only a fraction of the import duties Europeans do. Vehicles 25 years or older are exempt from DOT and NHTSA regulations. This means you can have the car shipped to your home directly, get it inspected just as any used car, bring the title and bill of sale to your local DMV, pay any applicable sales taxes and get it registered. California buyers should consult us due to exceptionally strict smog regulations - there are options. Step by step importation: After payment is finalize we will set up shipping. You can expect your car to be loaded within 2 weeks and on its way to the Rotterdam port in Holland or Bremerhaven, Germany. Your car will remain at the port under lock and key for several days until the designated container ship arrives for pickup. Your car will then be loaded onto a large metal container, much like a small garage, and it will be on its way to whichever port closest to your home city. By this time you will have the shipper's contact information and can get updates on the ship's whereabouts. Generally, it takes approx. 30-45 days to arrive to most U.S. ports. The shippers will have the car custom cleared and from there they will arrange shipment to your home, unless you choose to pick up in person at the port. Next step is registration/titling in your home state. This is much like registering any used car. The original title and bill of sale will be mailed to you long before your car arrives at the port. You need to bring these documents plus possibly state safety/emission certificates to your local DMV where you will be issued registration, plates and a title. Breakdown of shipping costs: Cost of shipping from Hungary to America depends on a few factors including current fuel prices, the U.S. destination port and market forces. Estimates: Hungary to Rotterdam, Holland Port: $600 USD Rotterdam Port to U.S.A Port: $1100-$1700 (lower cost to East Coast, higher cost to West Coast) U.S. Import Duties: 2.5% of purchase price Disclaimer Please remember that this is a used car and is sold "as-is" with no warranty expressed or implied. I make every effort to describe any and all imperfections, however all used cars may or may not have minor chips, dents, scratches, or imperfections as a result of normal everyday use. I will disclose to the best of my ability any known mechanical, structural, exterior, and interior problems. I would welcome anyone who would like to inspect the vehicle prior to bidding. My main goal is to ensure that this vehicle more than meets your expectations and you are pleased with your purchase. Please note: Hungarian law requires us to remove and turn in license plates before the car leaves the country, thus these are not included in the sale.
