Vehicle Detail

Beautiful 1969 Olds 442 - this is the real deal - not a clone VIN: 344879M303653 Attention: This is a no reserve auction - the highest bidder gets the 442 Gentleman's Muscle Car for auction. To the best of my knowledge: This is an all matching numbers car. Correct engine (400-V8) - tranny - drivetrain - color - interior Made in China??? Hell no - this is an piece of American History. This car is 43 years old and still drives like new. After four decades the Olds even drives better than my wife's new 2012 Japanese rice steamer. Just amazing. After the first turn key the car comes alive. The original 400ci engine has plenty of power. The breaks are in good working order. The car comes with the following options: A/C - PB - PS. The A/C needs to be recharged, the compressor is working. Other than that there are no mechanical issues with the car as far as I know. It really drives good. Exterior: The paint looks very nice. There are some minor blemishes in the paint but nothing major. The door handles and the chrome pieces around the cooler have some "chrome pimples". But other than that the chrome is good-decent. All glass is good. The color of the car is trophy blue metallic - it matches the paint code. Overall the exterior looks very beautiful and presentable. Interior: The interior for the most part is original. The carpet is new. The original seats still remain excellent seating surfaces without any rips. The dashboard has no cracks. The armrest on the drivers door has some cracks. There are two holes and one rip in the headliner. Overall the interior makes a clean appearance for being 43 years old. Body: There is no visible rust on the body - undercarriage - trunk. This is a very honest car. Nothing is hidden under a thick black undercoating. The floor pans and the frame are looking very good. The body is straight as an arrow. The gaps are good. I checked all the typical rust areas and I couldn't find any bondo. Miscellaneous: The tires are almost brand new. Maybe they were driven around 300 miles. Speedometer - lights - turn signals - wipers are all in good working order. The radio isn't working. The emergency brake is not connected. The car comes with two spare tires. Also I have two sets of keys. Overall this is an amazing, good looking and completely matching numbers 442. You just don't find them anymore in this almost original, rust free condition. Please don't forget that this car wasnt restored for $100k. Somebody will be very happy with this car. Its a very presentable driver and you can take this car without any doubts to any car show. I am helping my friend to sell this car. I have a clean title in hand and ready to sign it over into your name. I can assist with national or international shipping. Overseas bidder are welcome. Ich spreche deutsch. Please only bid if you have the money ready for the car. Bidder's without any ratings have to contact me before bidding - or I will delete your bids. I will accept cash - cashiers check - or a wire transfer. The car wont leave my garage before all funds have cleared. I can provide you with a photobucket link were you will find around 140 photos of the car inclusive the fender tag. If you have any questions or if you want to see the car please feel free to call me at 239-440-6873 or send an email. Happy bidding.
