As I am reluctant to sell anyway*** Hello, up for sale is my 2G DSM 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST 4g63 Turbo with 5-Speed Manual transmission. This car is in 100% SHOW QUALITY condition and needs NOTHING! I was the owner of a performance shop and have personally gave meticulous attention to every aspect of this fine machine while building it. We purchased this vehicle from a local dealership back in July of 2011 with the intention of making it a full out demo/show car for our shop. Well.... Mission accomplished! Everyone says this... But trust me... YOU WILL NOT FIND A CLEANER, BETTER MAINTAINED 2G ECLIPSE ON THE ROAD TODAY..... PERIOD! Enough said The car currently has approximately 93k miles which is AMAZING for the year and age of the car. This eclipse has a Clean title in hand ready to be signed over to it's new deserving owner. The only thing is that there was an issue with the reporting of the odometer years ago before i even bought it, which resulted in a clerical error at the DMV when they updated it's mileage in the computer. If you do check the carfax, you can see that the odometer was NOT "rolled back" or changed whatsoever and that the mileage reported is consistent throughout the years as it should be. This unfortunately happens quite often and is typically just a simple typo by the person entering the info. Sure didn't stop me from buying it, lol, but thought I would mention it so that everything is formally disclosed. This vehicle has NEVER been wrecked, salvaged, rebuilt, etc, so no worries about buying any hidden problems with this one! The car shows virtually no sign of wear on the interior or exterior and is in impeccable condition! Understand that this is a 15 year old car, so every little detail of the car will not be in "new" condition. But for it's age, it is dang near perfect! Nearly $15,000 in visual and performance upgrades with an entire laminated binder filled with almost every receipt since it's purchase. The wheels and Toyo T1R high performance tires along with pretty much every other item on the car were purchased BRAND NEW by us and are only a few hundred miles old. A lot of custom work and modifications went into this car to make it what it is today. The car is currently tuned to a conservative 12lbs of boost on stage 1 and 18lbs on stage 2. On stage 2, with the flip of a switch you can easily eat Stock Evo's and STI's for lunch on the fly if you decide to do so. Actual HP or Dyno numbers are unavailable as we never got a chance to do any run's. However, With it's current tune on Stage-2 with 18lbs of boost with the I/C Sprayer you are easily over 300hp. This car was Adult owned and maintained properly and can assure you was never tracked or launched hard from the line. The ONLY reason I am selling is because I am now a family man and need a 4-door! This is not my daily driver, however when me and the family do take it out for a spin on a nice day or to a car show, it is a pain trying to fit the whole family inside of it, car seat, stroller and all lol.
