Vehicle Detail

I have a 1986 Pontiac Fiero that has been my project for the last two years. Originally i purchased the car as a 4 cylinder 5 speed model. Shortly after i decided to swap out the iron legend and put in an L67 which is the supercharged 3.8L engine found in Pontiac GTP's, Bonneville SSI's, Buick Riviera's and countless other newer model FWD GM cars. The motor was purchased from the Morad Parts Co with roughly 80k miles along with the wirnig harness and PCM. The transmission, 4t65e-hd, was pulled from a GTP of the same year from a local junk yard. I had it broken down and checked for any metal or parts that needed to be replaced before install and all ended up checking out good. Most of the installation was done by myself. I also went ahead and installed some performance modifications. They are listed below: Engine: Stage 1X Blower cam from intence racing, ARP head studs, Crane 105 lb springs with hardened retainers and push rods, Ported Eaton M90 supercharger (inner and outter) from ZZP Performance, ZZP 2.8 and 3.0 supercharger pullies for more boost, Northstar throttle body with LQ4 MAF, 1 1/2 Custom Headers from WEST COAST FIERO, 2 1/2 Spintek exhaust from WEST COAST FIERO, TFS 49 LB injectors, WEST COAST FIERO power steering delete pulley, WEST COAST FIERO A/C delete pulley Transmission: W Body 3100 Stall, ZZP shift kit, all new internal wiring harness, all new shift solenoids and sensors Other modifications: Leather racing seats, air intake scoop, West Coast Fiero coil overs (front springs with adjustable rear coil overs), GT Front bumper and steering wheel, aftermarket 14" wheels with 205 Nitto NT555r drag radials (new), Walbro 255 fuel pump, Autometer narrow band sensor and Boost gauge, All motor and transmission mounts were purchased from west coast fiero. The merging of the two harnesses ( the gtp harness and the fiero harness have to be merged together so all the instruments work and to ensure all the nesseary engine sensors work ) was also done by west coast fiero. I have spent tons and tons of money on this swap and it is 98% complete. The car is currently on a start up E85 tune and does run and drive. There are two issure that need to be resolved for the project to be completely finished. Problem number 1 is the paint. The car is sanded down and ready to be painted. Problem number two is the PCM. The car will not shift will in drive but will shift if you manually move the shifter from 1-2-3-D. I had a local transmission troubleshooting expert conme and diagonse the car. He hooked his special scan tool up to the vehicle and determined that the PCM was bad and that this was the reason the car would not shift. You can either get a new PCM and have it tuned to fix the problem or swap a 5 speed manual back into it and by pass all the electical transmission stuff. I have a ton of receipts for most of the items that i have purchased for the car over the past couple of years. Buyer is responsible for pick up/transportation of the vehicle. A 30% deposit is due upon conclusion of the auction. Feel free to message me with any questions or concerns.
