Up for auction is a 1958 MGA; this car is a project and needs total restoration. The engine turns freely and runs; we removed the carburetor bowls, cleaned them up, poured some gas and it started right away. However, it has been sitting for an unknown number of years and therefore, the overall true mechanical condition is unknown. As you can see from the photos, even though the car is a complete project it is extremely solid and virtually rust-free with the exception of the surface rust; it has been in New Mexico since the early 1960's. The body gaps line up perfectly; the frame is solid as a rock as well as the suspension, the door sills and doors are all rust free. I have the winshield and frame but it is missing the posts that attach the wondshield to the car. I do have the seat frames as well; other than that, whatever you see missing on the photos is not there. Bottom line; this is a perfect restoration project car. I have plenty of more photos that I will gladly share with serious buyers; no hidden agendas here. The car does have a clear "bonded" title. The previous owner purchased it at an estate sale without a title and went thru the proper channels to have the vin number checked thru the NCIC; meaning that this title is as good as any and it can be registered in any state or exported to any country without any issues. I will sell worldwide and will store the car for a reasonable period of time until buyer makes arrangements to ship the vehicle.
