Vehicle Detail
1973 Dodge Dart Custom in excellent shape!!!This Dodge Dart was previous owned by a ww2 fighter pilot, and has not been driven in four years due to his health. We purchased this car being told that it only had 30k miles, but after further review it has 103k which is still incredible for a car that’s almost 40 years of age.Where do we start, this car has one multiple award 1st-2nd, and 3rd place just as recent as 2003. Our mechanic says it runs like it has 1000k on it. The engine looks almost as good as the day it left off the assembly line, it runs great (has bad gas from sitting four+ years). The interior is excellent, the exterior is solid besides the surface rust. The tires looks new, it basically looks like it has been suspended in time. The trunk is filled with all sorts of goodies (from 73-04) related to the car(a lot). We will leave everything just like it is besides the magazines in the trunk. Any questions feel free to drop us an email. It should have been 1k or 1000 miles, that's what I meant. Don't believe me you can here it run for yourself... First off I want to say I took those pictures in Oct. 2011 so it was cold outside. We had the car washed that day, took pictures and backed it in the storage. Today (6AM 7-31) is the first time I've been back to the storage since then to test the AC. Unfortunately the AC compressor did not click on (I just jknew it would). I'm not sure if it needs recharging (R12). However, the compressor looks brand new it has all the Daimler Chrysler tags(look new as well) on it from the factory (70's), the lines also looks new. I am extremely impressed with this car. It probably hasn't been tuned up in almost 5 years now, and after a few spins over it started right up and ran excellent (This is the first time I started it this year). The throttle response is incredible (no kidding), the engine sits still (no shakes or rattle) and purrs like a kitten. The V8 runs STRONG in this car. It's like a time capsule, it has the business cards in the middle tray just like the previous owner left it, 70's, 80's, 90's memorabilia in the trunk, (hat, work suit, parts and lots of other items). If the paint was flawless (no blemishes or surface rust) this car would win first place again in a car show for originality. The bumpers, grills, headlights, are mint. Great Vehicle.
