I have for sale a 1998 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 truck. Tne truck has about 145,000 miles on it, and it runs good. I'm selling becasue I purchased a new truck, and although I was thinking about keeping this, I've decided to part with it. It has been a work truck, so it has some cosmetic issues with it, but it runs really good. So here's the good. It runs great, always starts, does not burn oil, and there are no leaks that I could see, although I won't gaurantee that there are none. The 4 wheel drive works great, as does the transmission, the air conditioning, and most everything else in the cab. The not so good. Because this was a work truck, it has lots of paint scratches, some of the clear coat is gone on the top of one door, a small dent in the driver side front fender. It does have some rust, but nothing overly bad. Mostly at the bottom of the doors, and on the rear bumper. It also has a broken door handle on the driver door. The handle works, but the handle frame is broken. It has automatic door locks on the remote, but I do not have the keys to the door, only the ignition..sorry, but that's how it came to me when I got it. Now for the bad. The check engine light is on. I'm told it needs a catalytic converter. Also, the anti-lock brakes are just starting to go bad. And the fuel gage does not work correctly. It's fine until you get to about 1/2 tank, then it jumps. It gets about 300+ miles to a tank of gas. I've tried to list everything I can remember about the truck...but I can't stress enough, that there is NO WARRANTY on this truck.
