This Westy started serving the hoi polloi in Hunting Beach in 1979. I'm the fourth owns, the first purchased the vehicle from Jim Marino Voltswagen. The second I don't know but some headliner work remains. The third owners toured the Pacific Baja regions and the mesas around Zion National Park where the vessel remains to this day. For the last three years it has been in my much needed garage space. I have replaced the pop up canvas and the interior curtains and cushions have been redone. The secondary lighting needs a new battery. It runs well with a 2000 porsche engine; provided your comfortable with 65 miles per hour. the starter battery is weak; however, I drive to the mailbox every week to keep it in motion. It has the soul of lived in spaces: when I set it up for pictures I was torn to continue the restoration. Really a little tlc mixed with some tech and you'll be hanging at the next burning man feast, or perhaps the Strawberry Music Festival. On the side the stove works and the dc cooler box, the sink and H2O tank are fine the new pump needs to be installed.
