Hey this is my 2004 Volkswagen Jetta GLS TDI with 90K up for sale. It has a problem with the camshaft which is worn out and needs to be replaced. The car starts but makes a bad idling noise and gets worse if given higher rpms. I towed it to a VW specialist in town and he is the one who took it apart and told me about the camshaft problem. I was thinking about getting it repaired but shortly after the car broke down I got a job as a long haul truck driver so decided I don't really need the car because I am never home and rather sell it as is! I have owned the car for over 2 years and loved driving it on a daily basis because it gave over 40 mpg on the highway and 178 pds of torque in the city! I have always babied the car and have most of the receipts for repairs and parts I bought. The car has no dents but does have scratches from daily driving! There is also a chrome molding on the driver passenger door that is cut and sticking out. I have a new chrome molding and will try to install it before the car is sold but cannot guarantee I will have time to. This car also has endless features such as speed sensored wiper blades and stereo system, 6 disc cd changer, ON STAR, heated mirrors, automatic/tiptronic transmission, hidden hitch with standard connector, power windows, doors, moonroof, etc. Like I said earlier I loved driving the car on a daily basis and have driven it to Seattle, WA Las Vegas, NV Anchorage, AK and most recently to Sarasota, FL (where it broke) from my home state of California! So as you can see most of the miles are highway miles and I do have to note that this car has no problem going up any incline with 4 adults meanwhile getting over 40 mpg! This is the beauty of owning a turbo diesel. Before I drove it across the country to FL I did put all brand new suspension, aftermarket headlights with foglights with LED strip, European light switch and cv axels as I planned on driving the car for a lot longer. So all of the parts listed have just about 3k on them!
