Vehicle Detail
3 DAY LISTING ONLY! 3 DAY LISTING ONLY! 3 DAY LISTING ONLY! Maryland Title is stamped as a Clear"Rebuilt Salvage" Title, meaning the car was certified as drivable from a regular "Salvage" title.{Regular Salvage Titles are not drivable until they can pass the certification process. This Honda has passed and the title is clear and ready to re-register} Car was registered and Titled with Historic vehicle plates until a few days ago before I listed it.We are transferring the Plates to another 20+ Year old car. You can read all about it at the Maryland DMV online site{http://www.dmv.org/} I copy and pasted this from there... If the vehicle is deemed road-competent, the salvage certificate will get a passing stamp and you can move to the next phase, which entails going through the regular titling and registration process. The one difference is that the new title issued will note the vehicle history with a "rebuilt from salvage" imprint. With Gasoline Prices at $3.50 per gallon and steady this little workhorse Gasoline Miser in the answer for basic transportation. My family loves big luxury cars,Trucks and SUV,s. We have 2 of them. What I don't love is driving them all day long in rush hour traffic across a metropolitan area and constantly filling the gas tank with hundreds of dollars adding up into thousands of $$$ of precious gasoline. My answer? I love foreign 4-cylinder engine cars too. My family has 3 of these type. This allows me to leave my big Gas Guzzelling Luxury Vehicle parked at home nice and clean without wear & tear for when I want to "take a spin" and it doesn't burn any gas at all because it is Parked! A Clear Maryland Title in Hand,This little Honda is ready to go to work,or anywhere else.It get's 38mpg+ {I have seen 40mpg}The Performance Intake/Breather and Exhaust headers give much more power with a steady fuel economy because the engine can breath better producing a "turbo" effect. If you are familiar with cars you understand what I mean.{ I personally owned over 200 cars in my 32 years of holding a drivers license,so I know a lot about them, which are keepers and which to stay away from}The way this car runs on the Highway I would trust it to go East coast to West Coast! Lots of potential and life left and you will smile each time you pass up another Gas Station or when you do fill up the 10 Gallon tank and see it go 350-400 miles on 1 full Tank. This 88 Civic has a strong smooth running 4 cylinder engine and a solid 5-speed transmission with good clutch&pressure plate.Brakes are good. All the Glass and Windshield are good without any cracks or bullseyes. The lights and turn signal/brake all work and lens covers are all good without any cracks. The Timing Belt&Alternator Belt are both New! {Timing Belt Cover is Missing and you can see that the belt is brand new!}This just cosmetic and you can get one and attach it yourself very easily}The Alternator and Battery are New! 14" Rims and Tires{Very Good Tires} equate to better fuel mileage and better highway rolling.Custom Intake and Filter with Performance Exhaust Headers get the most Economy and Power! Spare Tire and jack in the Trunk. There is no Radio in the car and No Power Steering or Air Conditioner. The car was being built for maximum power as a little Japanese mini-street rod. The only reason I am selling it is we have 6 cars here and I can't afford to keep them all registered and insured so this one is a backup and in excess of my needs. This Honda Qualifies for Historic Registration and Plates in my state of Maryland! All lights and ,turn signals, wipers ,door latches and hatchback work good and I believe it would pass most inspections.I had Historic Plates and the Car was exempt from state inspections and emissions. Must see this car and hear it run and drive to appreciate it. Body and sheet metal are great for a 24 year old car and it has not been kept in an area with snow and salt in the roads for it's lifespan as you can see from the photo's the body is solid .The pictures tell a lot.
