1957 Mercedes Unimog 404. Rare find in this shape I have had this truck for approximately 8 years. It has been garage kept and is in very good shape for the year model. My original plan was to use it as a camper but we bought a pop-up instead. It has been driven very little. This truck would make the ultimate four wheel drive, rock crawler, or just a great classic original driver. It appears to be all original and features: Inline six cylinder gas engine Radio box with tongue and groove flooring multi external storage boxes external jumper cable hook-up port under seat storage enclosed drive shaft high and low range transmission wheel position indicator spare tire and wheel removable canvas/rubber top drop down windshield generator control box inside the cab dual fuel tanks new batteries first aid kit in door hatchet under seat As the photos indicate the floor pan, frame and running gear is as solid as you will find. The four wheel drive works great as does the transmission. Engine runs great and has no major leaks. The gauges all seem to operate and the seats are in very good shape. Windshield is free of cracks and tires have plenty of tread left (my guess 85% or more). Exhaust is new as is plugs, plug wires, fuel filters and the top is only a few years old. It has 6792 kilometers on the odometer. It has some minor paint chipping and after it sits a while you must prime the fuel pump with the hand lever. I do not have the room to keep this truck inside anymore and have to sell it. You do not see trucks in this shape everyday. It will make someone a great truck!
