Sunroof, 4 on the tree. This is a wonderful early metal-bumper 504. These are very, very rare and hard to find! I have owned and loved many 504's over the years, but I've seen very few early 504 sedans, and this one is a CA original blue-plate rust free car, with a gas engine and a stick shift!! Runs and drives very well. Starts right up on the choke, brakes, clutch, transmission, all work fine. Does not smoke or overheat. Faster than you would think. Famous Peugeot suspension and rack and pinion steering is just great, and the car is just so much fun to drive and throw around corners. I have driven it on a 90 mile trip and it did not miss a beat. I bought the 504 to make it into a fun cruiser and event car, maybe a rally replica, for the many driving tour/rallyes we have here in CA. I thought with a little work, euro lights and some 505 seats and upgrades the Peugeot would be a great event car, and it will be! But now there are two Fintail Mercedes awaiting my attention, and I also have a Citroen DS21, so reality dictates the 504 must regrettably go. Tires look new, and on nice 505 rims. Heater core is bypassed. Lights, wipers all work. Newer fuel pump, filters, hoses, oil change, tune up. Interior is sun baked but still comfortable. Headliner is mostly gone and front seats need recovering. Carpets are very nice. Sunroof handle is broken but functions. Good dark tint on the rear and side windows. Old white paint has what you could call great 'patina' and will still take a nice shine. The 504 was being used daily around town when I bought it, and I have used it locally as well. It's a reliable, running and driving project car. Comes with some spare parts, and parts are actually not hard to find. Great for a full restoration or improve as you enjoy. 504s have plenty of club support online and from Europe. Clean CA title in my name. Car is on a current Non-op in CA so no fees due.
