Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1967 GTV that would be a perfect candidate for a race car project, it could also be returned to original condition. I have many other photos that can be emailed to anyone interested. The basic shell is not as bad as others I have seen. The rear wheel arches have been replaced some time in its past and are in excellent condition. As for the floors and rockers, they probably could be patched but I'll be on the safe side and say they need replacing. The door skins need some patching but the door bottoms are free of bubbles. The nose valance would need replacing. The rear is good but the spare tire well will need patching or would need replacing. The front and rear window openings are solid with some areas of surface rust, just needing a bit of wire wheeling or sanding. The engine bay is solid. The car comes with all glass and stainless trim, all suspension parts, steering parts, brakes, front and rear bumpers in excellent condition, interior parts, dash, gauges, front and rear seats. The car comes with a 2L motor of unknown condition, a set of 40mm Weber carbs with a euro manifold. It also comes with a 2L trans in unknown condition with a rare '69 pedal assy for use with a hydraulic clutch. The rear I believe is the original 456 non limited slip. The car comes with a nice set of BWA wheels with tires that need to be replaced. There are nice casters welded to the frame rails which makes it very easy to roll around by one person. I transported this car with these casters on a trailer without any problems. I am selling this project because I'm finishing up a '66 GTA replica project, then a '73 Montreal next. I have tried to be as open and honest and will answer all your questions to the best of my ability. A Paypal deposit of $500 would be required. Certified check or cash upon pick up, or contact me with other arrangements. All transportation will be up to the buyer but of course I can help load it onto a trailer or transport.
