I have had this car since 2000. When I bought it, it had over 37,000 miles (more like 137,000 miles, I suspect). The car had last been registered in 1979. The engine was frozen. The car has been repainted in original white prior to 1979. What have I done: Engine was rebuilt with new cylinders & pistons. But alas the rear seal still leaks. The head was rebuilt with hardened valve seats. The exhaust collector pipe is SS with a new muffler. The radiator was refurbished. The carburetors have been rebuilt. The brake master cylinder & the clutch master & slave cylinders were rebuilt. The brakes have been gone over & the system is using silicone fluid. The front end was rebuilt with new bushings & shocks. The rear has new leaf springs. There is a new black top. The seats have been rebuilt & covered in black leather with white piping. There is an older white tonneau cover. The transmission cover has been replaced with a plastic one still covered by the original red carpet. The wheels are from a TR6. They have been powder coated. The trim rings are not perfect; they have some curb rash. This car is a driver. It has a dent in the hood and damage to the front valence plus assorted chipped paint. It shows some evidence of rust out in the rocker panels. The floor is good & solid. The car has overdrive but it doesn't work because we haven't gotten around to it yet. The car has 39,381 miles on it.
