Beautiful 1968 Firebird 400 Convertible. Firebird 400 convertibles with a 4spd trans are very rare and very hard to find. My car is very clean, runs like new and has lots of very rare factory options. Paint and Body are in Excellent condition. Interior is very nice and the convertible top is new. Balanced 455 Pontiac V8 bored .30 over so its a 462 cubic inch motor. Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake, new model Holley Ultra double pumper carb. Mild camshaft, ect. Very low miles(less than 5k) on the complete engine build. New Tremec 5spd manual transmission. This is a great feature for road trips and/or long freeway rides. At 65MPH its only spinning at 1800-1900 RPMs. All new transmission, clutch assembly, linkage, ect. New Positraction rear end, rebuilt front end and front disc brakes. Newer original 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 wheels with newer raised white letter BF Goodrich tires. All new exhaust system with a couple throaty sounding turbo mufflers. New carpet kit, all new seals and rubber. Seats and door panels are in very good shape. Dash and dash pad are in very good condition, gauges all work good. Glass is all in good shape with no cracks or dings. New Convertible top with electric motor and top bonet. Now for the rare options. Its an original 4spd car without any modifications or cutting done to install the 5spd. It still has the 4 ORIGINAL Cocktail shakers in the trunk and under the hood. Hood mounted Tachometer that works great. 160 MPH speedometer, Firebird logo etched into the windows. Firebirds on the door panels and the glove box. Bucket seats with center console. Anti sway bars and rear air shocks. This is a Great looking, driving, handling, performance "Muscle Car" Has a few modern touches to give it the best of both worlds, Classic looks and modern performance. Jump in and drive it anywhere without worry. Clean California title in hand. Registered in California through 2012.
