1961 Ford Starliner, 352 CID V8, Automatic, Power Windows, manual Steering,manual brakes.Car was built in the Dallas,TX Assembly plant.Data Tag has no scheduled build date and or Rear Axle Code which means it was most likely a special order from what I understand.This is a nice running and driving car, far from a show car it was used as a daily driver until recently.Has current registration in California until Sep 2012, clean Ca. title.I got this car as a partial trade, always wanted a Starliner and had plans for it but have found another car I liked so this one must go.Car gets an insane amount of attention when you take it anywhere.The previous owner had the car repainted a couple years ago and it shines real nice, there are some touch up spots on the drivers door and drivers 1/4.The paint job is an affordable, driver quality paint job. Interior was redone except for the original white headliner that's still in tact. Engine oil pressure is 40 PSI driving and about 20 PSI at idle, runs at 170-175 in the heat.Single exhaust system, tailpipe from muffler back was cut off.I planned on running dual exhaust. Has a dual reservoir master cylinder. None of the instrument panel gauges are working, Drivers Window will not go up but motor is working, passenger window works, rear windows were working but I noticed they would not work yesterday for some reason.There has been bondo and patch work underneath the car in spots.And a spot of rust showing on the passenger side rocker on top by door sill plate. Appears to have been a factory undercoated car.Turn signals, brake lights,headlights all work,brakes are excellent,new Chrome steel wheels with baby moon caps, new battery, car has an Alternator and not a Generator.Trim and chrome are in very good condition.Being sold as is, where is. Once again it is a nice driver car that will need work and restoration if you intend to make it a show car.Comes with the original Factory fender skirts in the trunk.I will sell Internationally and can help arrange shipping no problem.
