Vehicle Detail

Here is a 1965 Ford Mustang. I have had it for over 5 years and I need to sell it, not because I want to. Body is in good shape just primered. I have removed most of the rust. You would want to fine sand it down and finish a few imperfections before paint. Interior - New carpet and in pretty good condition. I changed the original gauge cluster out to a new 5 gauge cluster and new steering wheel. Everything works interior wise, except the original radio. Vents and heater works. I also replaced the ignition switch and door panels. There is also a middle hump that sits between the front seats to hold drinks and misc items. - Exterior Body - It has new bumpers front and back. New rear lights and front fog lights. New door locks and rear hatch lock. I primed the body and new hood scoop. - Mechanical - New gas tank and lines all the way to the engine. All new brake lines front and rear. I replaced the 3 speed with a 5 speed hydraulic. It drives very nice with that extra 5 gear on the highway. New aluminum radiator high performance. New high performance alternator, air filter, spark plug wires, high performance distributor with high performance spark output, new 4 barrel holley carb I believe a 600 cfm on a new aluminum riser, new high performance fan blade, new high performance oil pump, all new hoses and wiring, new headers and exhaust, new solenoid and relay, new high performance water pump, new hood springs and high performance oil sump. Electrical - All new wiring, except under the dash. About half of it under the dash has been replaced. Suspension - Rear all new springs and shocks. Front - All new shocks and high performance suspension. The sway bar is also bigger to allow easier turns without swaying like you would in the original. The new suspension also corrects the front tire lean inwards. Every part of the suspension has been replaced. New front disc brakes and new tires. Engine - Is a 1969 302. The heads are 1969 HP. These are very hard to find, but put out I believe a 9:5:1 compression over the regular 302 heads, but less than the high performance package heads. Yes, they are real 1969 302 performance heads. They are stamped 302 1969 on them. The new heads these days would out perform them no problem. The springs in the heads are also high performance, but older higher performance springs. I was changing out the valve stems when I had one valve drop. I bent it trying to recover it. I put a new valve stem in, but not sure if it was correct because even the engine building shops that specialize in ford engines couldn't find an exact correct match for it. They think it is correct. I think the heads were only made for 6 months or so in 1969. So I removed the heads, cleaned everything up, all new stems and gaskets. When I started it up, I heard a small ticking noise. I let it run for about 1 minute and shut it off. I tried to restart it later on and it didn't want to start. I didn't really push it to try to start it either for fear of any possible damage. It usually starts right up. It has sat for several months now with no time to break it down and look into it. Probably just a simply new head swap with new high performance heads would fix it and probably run a lot stronger. I always wanted to see what new heads would do with this engine. Before you could easily spin the tires all the way through 3rd gear without even trying very hard. This Mustang moves. I've never replaced the engine or internal parts because of the power it has always put out. I was changing out the valve stems to reduce the smoke it put out on initial start ups. Like I said earlier, I don't want to sell this because it is so close to being complete, but I have too. I will ask for a deposit of $500 down through paypal and the remainder within 7 days of auction's ending. I can store the Mustang longer than 7 days no problem in my garage and covered with a car cover that comes with it, but I need the funds within 7 days of auctions end.
