1960 Ford Thunderbird Coupe - Parts or Restore Up for auction is a 1960 Ford Thunderbird Coupe - good for parts or possible restoration project. We do not have a title - sells with Bill of Sale. As can be seen in photos, the car is in decent shape for its age. Has a Ford 390, 8 cylinder, 2 bbl engine showing 16,922 miles on the odometer. The car has power windows and power driver's seat. Came out of factory with Moroccan Ivory paint and black/black leather bolsters and inserts. However, it is missing the carburetor, battery, radiator and driveline so we are unsure of it's status. The body has some rust at the bottom of the fenders and a few other spots. The driver's side floor pan will need replaced and would probably be best to replace the other interior floor pans, too. The trunk floor is in good shape. The roof looks good and is solid. The frame also looks to be solid. The passenger door doesn't latch - might just need some WD-40 - we'll look into more. The glass in the car is all intact, but some pieces have cracks - the windshield has a crack at the top/center and both of the bigger door windows are cracked. The wing windows on the doors and the rear side windows are good - not cracked. The dash pad is missing as well as some of the switch levers (however there are 4 or 5 levers in the glove box - ignition switch with key, glove box latch, light switch, etc.) The bucket seats and rear seat are in good shape for their age - looks to be original. The speaker is missing out of the passenger side door. The headliner is hanging down some. In the trunk, there are alot of spare parts - not for sure that they all fit this car. We did see a fuel tank, rear window, center console, side window, antenna, glove box door and many other parts. All of the chrome trim appears to be intact. Both doors are missing the exterior door lock. The bumpers are in decent shape with some rust. Take a look at this 1960 Ford Thunderbird - parts or project car!
